Neue magazine (online) asked Jarrik Muller to contribute a typographic poster with the theme Hong Kong.
“The letters are based on Chinese letters, they are very straight and they have al these extra strokes. The colours are, again, from the metro map where the blue line meets the green line. On this point there is a subway stations which is indicate with white and black.”
I find this piece of work very interesting because it is made as a flat 2D print and after being cut and folded it turns into 3D typeface. It sort of switches from 2nd to third Dimension over time(4th dimension). It is also a great example of how typography look completely different in 2 and 3 dimensional interpretations.
